I am currently serving as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics at East West University (EWU), Dhaka, Bangladesh. I joined EWU in April 2019 as a Lecturer and was promoted to the position of Senior Lecturer in 2023. Over the years, I have been actively engaged in teaching, research, and academic activities at the university. I completed my B.S.S. (Honors) and M.S.S. in Economics from the University of Dhaka in 2018 and 2019, respectively. Before joining EWU, I worked at Ark Foundation, where I was involved in research-related activities.
My research interests include environmental economics, energy economics, trade and policy, and applied economic analysis. I have published two research articles in international journals and continue to pursue research in various areas of economics. I am also serving as a voluntary article reviewer for an Elsevier-published journal, contributing to the evaluation and advancement of academic research.
In addition to my academic responsibilities, I have been involved in student mentoring, research supervision, and various academic initiatives that contribute to the development of the university community.
