Sadia Anjum is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics, Faculty of Business and Economics, East West University. She is an academician and aspiring researcher with strong interests in economics, teaching, research. She has more than four years of experience in teaching undergraduate economics courses and mentoring students.
Her teaching experience covers core areas of economics and quantitative methods, including Principles of Microeconomics, Introduction to Macroeconomics, College Mathematics, Mathematics for Business and Economics, and Statistics for Business and Economics. She emphasizes student-centred learning, real-world economic applications, and supportive academic mentoring.
Sadia has contributed to institutional quality assurance and accreditation activities at East West University. She served as a member of the ACBSP accreditation team for the School of Business and Economics.
Her research interests are mainly in behavioural economics, labour economics, digital transformation, skills development, economic rationality. Her published work examines human behaviour and rationality.
Do people always behave as expected in the study of economics? There is considerable variation in behaviour, preferences and choices among people/economic agents. Perhaps more importantly, this variation is visible under different circumstances for the same person. This paper shows how people’s preferences differ when the same options are presented in different ways.
