Seminar on “Decoding Management for Organizational Excellence”
The MBA & EMBA Programs, Department of Business Administration, East West University organized a research seminar titled “Decoding Management for Organizational Excellence.” The seminar was held on May 7, 2024 at Nousher Ali Gallery of East West University moderated by Assistant Professor Dr. Md. Atiqur Rahman Sarker, course instructor of HRM-501, Sec-1. The seminar explored crucial aspects of soft skills, professional etiquette, and networking strategies which are essential for thriving in the corporate sector.
The seminar featured Mr. Nazran Kabir, AVP & Senior Manager, People’s Acquisition at Eastern Bank PLC. as the guest speaker. With his wealth of experience and expertise, Mr. Nazran Kabir shared valuable insights into the significance of soft skills, their practical implementation, and the importance of professional attitude for fresh graduates entering the workforce. He emphasized the role of soft skills in interviews, corporate culture assimilation, and career growth. In his discussion, Mr. Kabir emphasized the utility of social media platforms and networking in shaping one's professional journey. In addition, Mr. Kabir provided practical advice and tips for job interviews and recruitment processes with actionable strategies to navigate the competitive job market successfully. An interactive Q&A session also took place where the attendees engaged with the guest speaker regarding their queries.
