Industrial Visit of EWU MBA Club at PRAN Industrial Park (PIP), Palash, Narsingdi
MBA-EMBA Programs, The Department of Business Administration (DBA) and MBA Club of East West University jointly organized Industrial Visit to PRAN Industrial Park (PIP), PRAN-RFL Group, Bagpara, Palash, Narshingdi on Saturday, May 18, 2024. As a part of the regular student development program under the industry-academia collaboration, 38 MBA-EMBA students went on to visit 8 different factories in PIP to get practical insights about the plant operations, raw material sourcing, production processes, quality control, and storage & shipment procedures of the products sold in the home and foreign markets of this renowned company. The visiting team was acquainted with the practical learning and was briefed by the PRAN-RFL Group officials. The students participated with great enthusiasm and learning aptitude in understanding the different functions of the plant operations. At the closing, Dr. Md. Atiqur Rahman Sarker, Assistant Professor of DBA, EWU expressed the vote of appreciation to the company officials and presented gift packs & EWU Souvenirs to the plant management on behalf of East West University.
The objective of this Industrial Visit was in line with the key Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) of the United Nations “Quality Education.” The focus of this Industrial Visit reflects EWU’s commitment to excellence in education and its dedication to nurturing future professionals in the Business career domain.
PRAN-RFL group exemplified hospitality and transparency during the industrial visit, warmly welcoming students and providing comprehensive insights into their operations. They willingly addressed queries and shared information about their recruitment processes, encouraging fresh graduates to consider opportunities within the company. The Director of Marketing, PRAN-RFL Group, Mr. Chowdhury Kamruzzaman Kamal invited the students for future collaboration with EWU MBA Club.
Additionally, PRAN-RFL thoughtfully arranged snacks and lunch for the visiting students, fostering a congenial atmosphere. Each team was led by a member of the top management, and they gave a detailed presentation on each sector In this industry, there are several items like chocolates, frozen food, drinks, beverages, cookies, bakeries, and also plastics sectors for home décor and appliances. The conclusion of the tour was marked by a group photo session, symbolizing the positive engagement between the company and the academic community.
