The Department of Business Administration, East West University, organized an engaging career development session titled “Corporate Preparedness & Skills for Employability” on 23 July 2026. The session was conducted by Mr. Mohammad Hasanuzzaman Begh, Senior Assistant Vice President at Eastern Bank PLC, who shared valuable insights on preparing for today's competitive job market. Leveraging his extensive corporate experience, he discussed effective job market preparation, interview strategies, and the key competencies employers seek in prospective candidates. He also highlighted common interview mistakes and offered practical guidance on professional grooming, communication skills, confidence, and workplace etiquette. The interactive question-and-answer session encouraged active student participation, providing attendees with practical knowledge and industry perspectives to strengthen their employability and prepare for a successful transition from university to the corporate world.

 About our Alumnus Mr. Mohammad Hasanuzzaman Begh: Mohammad Hasanuzzaman Begh graduated from the Department of Business Administration (DBA), EWU. Mr. Hasanuzzaman started his career with Eastern Bank Limited in 2013 and served the bank for about 18 years, most recently holding the position of Head, Organization Development & Capacity Enhancement Center. The latest development about his organizational affiliation is that he joined the Dhaka Bank PLC as a Vice president.
