A guest lecture session was held on “Project Financing and Credit Analysis” for the students of Financial Analysis & Control (FIN 7408) on July 21, 2026 at 4:50pm at Razia Samad Gallery. The session was conducted by Mohammad Imran Akhter, First Vice President & Head of Portfolio, Medium Business Division, City Bank PLC. Mr. Imran focused on the use of financial analysis in the credit evaluation and decision making of commercial banks. From his long-term banking experience, the speaker discussed some practical aspects of financial theories and techniques that students learn in the classroom.

Students from the two sections of the course were present at the session. The students had an open discussion with the speaker which made the session a lively platform of learning. Dr. Quazi Sagota Samina, Associate Professor, Department of Business Administration and Nusrat Jahan, Senior Lecturer, Department of Business Administration were present in the session.
