EWU MBA club visits Kohinoor Chemical Company (Bangladesh) Limited (KCCL)
On February 24th, the MBA Club of East West University (EWU) organized an industrial visit to Kohinoor Chemicals Factory. A contingent of 22 MBA and EMBA students participated in this edifying industrial visit. Kohinoor Chemicals exemplified hospitality and transparency during the visit, warmly welcoming students and providing comprehensive insights into their operations. The visit commenced with an introductory presentation by the Executive Vice President of Human Resource Management & Administration, followed by insights provided by the concerned executives in-charge of Brand Management and Executive Vice President (HRM & Administration) Retired Squadron Leader Aslam Baig . Following the presentations, an interactive Q&A session facilitated dialogue between the students and the company representatives. They willingly addressed queries and shared information about their recruitment processes, encouraging fresh graduates to consider career opportunities with the company.

The factory tour encompassed a comprehensive overview of products manufactured for the spring and summer sessions in two groups visiting different parts of the factory simultaneously. Various aspects of production were showcased, including the storage of raw materials, the manufacturing process of product bases, packaging procedures, and labeling protocols. Five key types of products were highlighted namely soap, lotion, hair oil, detergent, and lip gel. The conclusion of the tour was marked by a group photo session, symbolizing the positive engagement between the company and the academic community.
