On Thursday, March 7th, 2024, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, the Department of Business Administration (DBA) organized a seminar entitled "An Overview of the Bangladesh Labor Act of 2006 and Employee Welfare Measures" for students enrolled in HRM413 (Industrial Relations & Labour Law). Industry Expert Mr. Md Syfur Rahman, Corporate Responsibility Manager, Sutari GmbH & Former Head of Compliance, Leathergoods & Footwear Manufacturers & Exporters Association of Bangladesh, LFMEAB was graciously invited to impart invaluable insights on various labor laws and welfare initiatives. The session garnered attendance from over 80 students, offering them a comprehensive introduction to diverse labor conditions and the current global landscape of employee welfare practices.
