The Department of Business Administration, East West University organized a guest lecture session on “People Analytics” for HRM major students on 4 April, 2023 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. The speaker of the session was Md. Mehanazuddin Rupom, Head of HR & Admin Department of AMANN Group. He is also a Microsoft Certified Trainer and Microsoft Certified Excel Expert.

Md. Mehanazuddin Rupom mentioned during the session that the power of people analytics in everyday decision-making is undeniable. With the help of people analytics, one can capture his or her CEO’s attention by getting deeper into strategic HR metrics. He added that people analytics gives one the ability to approach a problem from a different perspective instead of just being seen as a departmental problem.

Dr. Rumana Afroze, Associate Professor, Department of Business Administration, East West University has selected the topic of the expert session. She contacted the speaker and coordinated the session.
