Guest Lecture Session on “HR and Artificial Intelligence”

The HRM Discipline under the Department of Business Administration organized a guest lecture session for the students of the following courses- HRM 301, HRM 411, HRM 413, HRM 501 and MGT 480, on June 23, 2026, at the Nousher Ali Lecture Gallery. The seminar titled "HR and Artificial Intelligence” was conducted by Ms. Nisbat Anwar, SHRM-SCP, Chief People Officer, Renata PLC. Ms. Nisbat is a HR leader with over 24 years of experience in HRM. During the session, she discussed the role of AI on HRM, role of AI on global trends and data and how AI improve efficiency in HR practices. She also highlighted the importance of future-ready skills, adaptability, and continuous learning help students become HR professionals. Her speech encouraged students to learn about the opportunities and challenges that AI presents in the field of HR. Associate Professor Dr. Rumana Afroze, Dr. Md. Atiqur Rahman Sarker and other faculty members Silvia Akter, Tamanna Parvin Eva and Shabiha Afrin Sharna from HRM discipline were present at the guest lecture session.
