On July 9th, students of Department of Business Administration (DBA, EWU) had the privilege of attending a career-focused seminar titled "Future Bankers Wanted: Hiring Insights for the Next Generation Banker", featuring keynote speaker Mr. Nazran Kabir (BBA & MBA, EWU), Head of Recruitment at Eastern Bank PLC.

Mr. Kabir shared invaluable guidance on thriving in the competitive job market—from mastering AI integration in daily tasks to building impactful CVs, sharpening soft skills, and excelling in interviews. Students gained real-world advice on academic performance, ECA development, and the importance of self-marketing in today’s evolving financial sector.

With banking highlighted as a dynamic industry offering continuous growth and learning, the session empowered aspiring professionals to prepare strategically and think boldly: “Have an attitude that you’re going to own this company.” The seminar was facilitated by Associate Professor Dr. Md. Atiqur Rahman Sarker with vote of thanks on behalf of Department of Business Administration, East West University.
