The Certificate Course in Integrated Supply Chain Management (ISCM)—a collaborative initiative between East West University and the Bangladesh Freight Forwarders Association (BAFFA)—recently organized a comprehensive industrial study tour to Knit Plus Ltd., a leading apparel manufacturing and export-oriented facility in Gazipur. Accompanied by faculty member Md. Anamul Hoque, six students gained valuable insights into the end-to-end supply chain operations within the RMG sector. The immersive visit offered hands-on experience in requisition, sourcing, vendor evaluation, purchase negotiations, quality control, and inventory management. Participants also explored how procurement is strategically aligned with production, merchandising, compliance, and export schedules. Guided tours of key operational units underscored the organization’s commitment to lean processes, workplace safety, and adherence to global quality standards.
