The Department of Business Administration at East West University (EWU) organized the Certificate and Prize Giving Ceremony for the second batch of its "Uddokta 101" certificate course. The event was held at the Seminar Room of Business Administration Department of EWU on 11 June 2026.

The ceremony commenced with an inaugural speech by Abu Sadat Muhammad Ashif, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration and Programme Coordinator, who highlighted the importance of developing entrepreneurial skills and fostering an entrepreneurial mindset among young individuals to address the challenges of the evolving business landscape.

Representing the participants, entrepreneurs from Batch-2 shared their learning experiences and journeys throughout the program. They expressed how the course provided them with practical knowledge, guidance, and confidence to strengthen their business ideas and entrepreneurial capabilities.

The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Mohammad Jakirul Islam, Head of SME Strategy, Innovation & New Business, and Khadija Mariam, Head of Women Entrepreneur Cell. They shared valuable insights on entrepreneurship, innovation, and the importance of supporting emerging entrepreneurs in building sustainable ventures.

Dr. Farhana Ferdousi, Chairperson, Department of Business Administration, East West University, attended the ceremony and appreciated the dedication of the participants. She emphasized the department’s continuous efforts in creating opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs through practical learning and industry engagement.

The highlight of the program was the distribution of certificates among the successful participants of Batch-2. In recognition of outstanding performance, special prizes were awarded to the top-performing participants, who were acknowledged for their dedication, innovative ideas, and commitment towards entrepreneurship.

The ceremony concluded with appreciation for all participants, mentors, and stakeholders whose contributions helped make the Uddokta 101 initiative a meaningful platform for nurturing future entrepreneurs.
