Department of Business Administration, East West University has successfully organized the third session of the Research InFocus on August 11, 2022, in the BBA seminar room. A paper titled “Effects of economic uncertainty on the asset quality of the banking sector (NPL) and financial stability: Evidence from the data of a developing country” was presented in the session by Dr. Javed Bin Kamal, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration, East West University. Dr Javed pursued his Ph.D. in Economics from Newcastle University Australia in 2019. He worked as an investment banker in Bangladesh from 2010-2016 before to earning his Ph.D. He has published several articles in renowned peer-reviewed journals worldwide. 

The paper was discussed by Professor Dr. Syed Ferhat Anwar, Academic Adviser of the East West University. Senior faculty members and Associate Professor and Department Chair Dr. Farhana Ferdousi, were present on the occasion.
