Seminar on “Future HR Leaders: Skills and Strategies for a Successful Career”
The HRM Discipline under the Department of Business Administration, organized a seminar for the students of the courses “Human Resource Planning (HRM 411)” and “Industrial Relations and Labor Law (HRM 413)” on October 21, 2025. The seminar titled “Future HR Leaders: Skills and Strategies for a Successful Career” was conducted by Md. Mehanazuddin Rupom, SHRM- SCP, Head of HR & Admin, AMANN Bangladesh Limited. Mr. Rupom delivered an insightful session on career development strategies for the students. He discussed the essential skills about career development such as professional networking, building trust, personal branding, emotional intelligence, and personal development. He also spoke about ethical HR in the age of AI, sharing a scenario and discussed how HR professionals can make ethical decisions. His speech inspired students to develop themselves as future HR leaders. Associate Professor Dr. Rumana Afroze and other faculty members Abdullah Al Sayed, Fairose Farin, and Shabiha Afrin Sharna from HRM discipline were present at the seminar.
