Guest Speaker Session on “Blueprint of Digital Marketing Campaign”
East-West University conducted an insightful seminar for the Integrated Marketing Communication (MKT 402) course on September 17, 2024. The session, "Blueprint of Digital Marketing Campaign," was conducted by Jihad Bin Tahzeeb, Assistant Vice President and Partner at Dotbirth. Mr. Md. Anamul Hoque, the faculty member of the course, attended the seminar.
The seminar focused on critical aspects of modern marketing practices. Jihad Bin Tahzeeb began by highlighting the key differences in responsibilities between marketing teams and agency teams. Besides, the session explored the distinctions between brand campaigns and tactical campaigns. While brand campaigns are designed to strengthen the overall identity and perception of a brand, tactical campaigns are short-term and product-focused, aiming to drive immediate sales or achieve specific goals. To further illustrate these concepts, Jihad Bin Tahzeeb presented a case study, showcasing a real-life example of an integrated marketing campaign, providing students with practical insights into the strategic and executional elements of successful digital marketing.
The seminar was an engaging and enriching experience for the students, giving them a deeper understanding of how theoretical marketing concepts are applied in the professional world. It also served as a valuable opportunity to learn from an industry expert about the evolving landscape of digital marketing.
