Expert Invitation Program on Service Marketing
Abigail Adams once said, “Learning is not attained by chance, it must be sought for with ardor and attended to with diligence.” The beautiful thing about learning is that nobody can take it away from you. However, when anyone chooses “Business Studies” as a career path, learning from the experts is the most fruitful and long-lasting learning.
To facilitate the idea of practical learning, an expert invitation program on Service Marketing held for East West University students on the 30th of March 2022 at Sir Nausher Ali Lecture Gallery. The kids have had the opportunity to learn about different facts of service-based businesses from the inside out. Students had gathered under the same rooftop, on this golden afternoon to gain knowledge regarding service marketing and cherish sweet memories of university life. The guest was Miss Kamrun Nahar Dana, Assistant Manager of Research & Communication at iSocial. Miss Dana is also best known for her online appearance “Dana Bhai Joss.”
The entire session was very interactive; Miss Dana shared how the companies do market research. First of all, they have to collect the raw data, and then they must verify the data so that they can capture the market. A most important aspect for any new/ old service or product-based business in the market is to understand the demand for it as well as human psychology, she shared.
The session was so encouraging in the first place, but the students' desire took the whole thing to the next level of cheerfulness. As we can see there are numerous good impacts of such engagement, so it will be appreciated to arrange more activities and seminars for the students.
