Department of Business Administration has successfully arranged its first session of the Research InFocus on 18^th December 2021. Research InFocus is an initiative of the Department of Business Administration to enable a research-driven ecosystem within the faculty members of the department and to foster new knowledge in the field of business.

Mr. Md. Shafiqul Islam, Lecturer of the Department of Business Administration has presented his research paper titled: “Implementing International Integrated Reporting Framework in the Corporate Reporting Paradigm: A Case-Based Evidence from Bangladesh”. In this paper, Mr. Islam delves deep into the International Integrated Reporting Framework (IIRF) in the context of Bangladesh following a case study approach. Starting with a detailed historical sketch of the evolution of Integrated Reporting (IR) in Bangladesh. Mr. Islam attempts to point out some crucial challenges towards its implementation. In this paper, Mr. Islam suggests a promising future of IR adoption in the corporate communication ecosystem of Bangladesh to support the growth of a transparent and efficient capital market. His analysis also shows a positive reflection of the management of IDLC Finance Limited to incorporate the advanced concepts of Integrated Thinking and long-term value creation with a sustainable business model.
