Department of Business Administration, East West University, arranged a study tour for 221 students of the course Strategic Management on 21st November 2019 at Akij Food & Beverage Ltd. (AFBL) factory, one of the largest and modern factories of South Asia. A cohort of 14 faculty members of the department led the students during this study tour. The students observed mass production technologies in practice and employees at work, which in turn, established a bridge, between the theoretical knowledge students gather at the classroom and practical implications that are happening in modern manufacturing establishments like AFBL factory. Overall, the students, with their enthusiastic and active participation, made the best out of this learning opportunity.
