Department of Business Administration, East West University has organized the fourth session of the Research InFocus on 20 October, 2022 in the BBA seminar room. A research paper titled “Board Gender Diversity and Capital Structure in Private Firms: Evidence from the UK” was presented in this session by Dr. Mahnoor Sattar, Senior Lecturer, Department of Business Administration. Dr. Mahnoor Sattar completed an MBA from IBA, Dhaka University on Director’s honor list, and an MSc from the University of Nottingham with Distinction. She completed her Ph.D. in Finance at the University of Otago, New Zealand. She also has experience working as a Financial Analyst in the Corporate Banking Division. Her research focus is on corporate governance, private firms, and asset valuation.

The discussants were Dr. Syed Ferhat Anwar, Professor and Academic Adviser of East West University, and by Dr. Tanbir Ahmed Chowdhury, Professor, DBA. Other senior faculty members as well as Department Chairperson Dr. Farhana Ferdousi, were present at the event.
