The first session of guest speaker series of spring 2024 organized by Finance discipline, Department of Business Administration, East west University entitled "Practices on loan management of Bangladesh”, held on 14 May 2024 for the students enrolled in FIN 335 (Financial Market and Institutions), FIN 350 (Real Estate Finance) and FIN 380 (Management of Commercial Banks) at the Lecture Gallery of East West University.

Experienced and prominent banking Industry Expert Mr. Md. Abdul Mannan, Managing Director, Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (BHNFC), was graciously invited to impart invaluable insights on various loan management practices and current scenario in Bangladesh. He also served as Managing Director in Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB), Managing Director in Karmasangstan Bank and Deputy Managing Director in Sonali Bank Limited. His insights into the current scenario and industry experience in the banking sector and house-building finance, popular HBL schemes and practices in Bangladesh, business entrepreneurship and loan facility for young entrepreneurs provided invaluable real-time experience context to the concepts discussed in the classroom.

Professor Dr. Tanbir Ahmed Chowdhury, Professor, EWU gave the welcome speech on the occasion. Other faculty members were present there. Through engaging in conversations with the guest, students gained a deeper comprehensive knowledge regarding the mentioned topics.
